1. WiFi Connection:
1. Ensure that the WIFI signal is good and the phone is connected properly. When Magicdog is turned on and you hear the voice prompt "Self-checking - Self-check completed", open the phone APP and connect to the device simultaneously. The first connection requires entering the WiFi password that the phone has already connected to;2. If the mobile phone fails to connect to the robotic dog successfully after more than 2 minutes, press the Bluetooth button on the back of the robotic dog once until you hear "Bluetooth is turned on, please connect to the network", then continue to attempt to connect (Tips: Press once only; long-pressing the Bluetooth button will restore the factory settings);
2. AP Connection:
First, turn on the robot dog. Then, find the Magicdog's Wi-Fi (with the robot dog's SN) in the phone's Wi-Fi signal sources. The password for this Wi-Fi is: dt123456. Open the APP and select "AP Direct Connection". At this time, simply enter the access password for the Magicdog's signal source.
3. Hotspot Connection:
Turn on the hotspot of Phone A, then Phone B can normally connect to the signal. After the robot dog is powered on, open the APP, and the connection method is the same as the steps in (1.).
The robotic dog cannot set a personal private password, but the account is uniquely bound, fully ensuring the security of the robotic dog's binding.
When the prompt is bound by the user, the following methods can be used to disconnect:
1. Provide the serial number of the robotic dog (a string starting with A2307 in SNg) to Magic Atom's after-sales service, and the background will unbind it.
2. There is a pin-like icon in the upper left corner of the APP remote control interface. After clicking it, "Confirm whether to disconnect", confirm "Yes", and the APP will jump to
On the "User Device" interface, click the two small triangles below the name of the bound robotic dog to enter the second interface, click the "Trash Can" button in the upper right corner of the small icon, and confirm "Yes".
3. Settings -- More -- Unbind -- Confirm
Use the provided charger, insert the charger plug into the charging port of the robotic dog, and then connect the charger to a power outlet. Generally, it is recommended to fully charge the battery for the first time. Subsequent charging can be done when the battery level is low. It usually takes about 3 hours to fully charge, and refer to the product manual for the specific time.
Avoid overcharging and over-discharging, and try to charge the battery when the remaining power is around 20%-30%. When not in use for an extended period, it is recommended to charge the battery to around 50%-60%, remove it for storage, and perform a charge-discharge cycle on the battery every once in a while to maintain its activity.
Regularly wipe the body with a clean and soft cloth, clean the surface dust of components such as the camera and sensors, and avoid scratching the lens with hard objects. For the dust inside the ventilation holes, a vacuum cleaner can be used regularly to remove it. If any laggy or abnormal conditions are found in parts such as the joints of the robotic dog, please contact after-sales service for inspection and maintenance. It is strictly prohibited to use alcohol or other organic solvents to clean the robotic dog.
It may be that the battery has entered self-protection due to overheating, and charging can resume after the battery has cooled down to a normal temperature.
Yes. In the settings of the Magicdog APP, there is usually a speed adjustment option, which allows users to select different speed levels according to their needs. Different levels correspond to different forward, backward, and turning speeds.
Check if the foot pads of the robotic dog are damaged, if there are any foreign objects stuck in the joints, and if the sensors are working properly. If the foot pads are damaged, you can replace them with spare foot pads on your own or contact after-sales service for replacement; if there are foreign objects in the joints, clean them up; if you suspect a sensor malfunction, please contact after-sales service for inspection and repair. Additionally, it is also necessary to check if it is being used on unsuitable terrain, and try to test walking on flat ground.
First, check if the camera connection is loose. If the connection is normal, try restarting the robotic dog and related devices (such as the mobile app). If the problem persists, it may be a camera hardware failure or software issue. Contact after-sales service for handling.
It may be due to reasons such as lack of lubrication in the joint parts, loose parts, or motor failure. First, check whether there are any loose parts in each joint part. If so, try tightening them. If the noise still persists, contact after-sales to arrange for professional inspection and repair.
