The operation buttons occasionally do not respond when controlling the robot through the APP.

1. When the APP connects to the robot through Wi-Fi, an unstable Wi-Fi signal may cause intermittent control.

2. Try connecting the APP to the robot through AP direct connection.

1. A waypoint stunt action may not have been configured. Check whether a stunt action has been added in the waypoint task settings.

2. Check whether “AI-Generated Action” is selected. When using this option, the configured narration must be longer than 10 seconds.

In guided tour mode, localization fails after setting the robot’s initial position.

1. Check whether the dragged icon matches the robot’s current position and whether its orientation is correct.

2. The robot cannot be localized inside a virtual wall, near map noise, or within a restricted area. Select a valid position and try localization again.

In guided tour mode, the narration has finished after the robot reaches a waypoint, but the robot is still performing actions.

Too many custom actions may have been added. For example, if the robot continues performing actions for 10 seconds after the narration ends, remove some actions and try again.

The robot starts performing actions immediately after reaching a waypoint. How can it be set to act only after coming to a complete stop?

Set a delay for the stunt action in the waypoint task settings.

How can I troubleshoot a robot that cannot connect to the APP?

1. If the APP cannot connect through either AP or Wi-Fi, scan the QR code in the robot manual to download the APP again, restart the robot, and retry the connection.

2. If the APP cannot find the robot, turn on Bluetooth on the phone and face the robot while saying, “Xiaomai, Xiaomai, turn on Bluetooth.”

3. If the APP cannot connect to the robot, connect the phone to the robot’s Wi-Fi when using AP direct connection. The initial Wi-Fi password is dt123456. When using Wi-Fi mode, make sure the phone and the robot are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

4. If the APP says the robot is already bound to another user, note that each robot can be bound to only one user. Ask the existing user to unbind it in the APP, or contact after-sales support for backend unbinding assistance.

How do I upgrade the robot firmware, and what precautions should I take during the upgrade?

Upgrade steps:

1. Preparation: Make sure the robot battery level is at least 50% and the phone has a stable network connection, preferably Wi-Fi. Open “Firmware Upgrade” under “My Devices” in the APP and check for a new version.

2. Start the upgrade: Tap “Upgrade Now.” The APP will automatically download the firmware package and transfer it to the robot. The robot’s indicator light may flash, such as flashing blue, during transmission.

3. Wait for completion: The robot will restart automatically during the upgrade. After restarting, a steady indicator light, such as steady green, indicates a successful upgrade, and the APP will display “Upgrade Complete.”


Precautions:

1. Do not power off the robot or phone or disconnect the connection during the upgrade. Doing so may damage the firmware and require factory repair.

2. If the upgrade fails, for example with a “Firmware Verification Error,” check the network connection, clear the APP cache, and retry. If it fails repeatedly, contact customer service for an offline firmware package and upgrade the robot through a USB cable.

3. Restart the robot after the upgrade and confirm that all functions work normally.

What should I do if the robot reports “Battery Temperature Too High” and cannot charge?

1. This is the battery charging temperature protection. Stop charging, move the robot to a cool and well-ventilated area, ideally at an ambient temperature of 20–25°C, disconnect the charger, and wait at least 30 minutes before charging again.

2. Check the charging environment. Do not charge in direct sunlight, near a heater or air-conditioning outlet, or in an enclosed space such as a cabinet or box, as poor heat dissipation may occur.

3. Check the charger. Use the original charger and inspect the plug and cable for damage, or try another original charger to rule out a charger fault.

4. If the high-temperature warning remains after cooling, connect the APP and check the battery status. The battery may be aged. Contact after-sales support to check battery health and replace the battery if necessary.

How should the battery be stored during long periods of non-use to extend its service life?

1. Charge the battery to 50%–60%. Bring the robot battery to this range, shown as “Medium Battery” in the APP. Avoid storing it fully charged, which may cause swelling, or at a low charge level, which may cause over-discharge.

2. Remove the battery if it is detachable. Power off the robot first and follow the manual to remove the battery. Wipe the battery contacts with a dry, soft cloth, place the battery in its original battery box, and store it in a cool, dry location at 10–25°C and no more than 60% humidity.

3. Avoid unsuitable environments. Keep the battery away from magnetic fields, such as speakers and magnets, and corrosive gases, such as cooking fumes and chemicals. Do not store it for long periods above 30°C or below 0°C.

Which robot faults can recover automatically?

1. Overtemperature: The robot will reduce speed when the temperature reaches 95–105°C. Above 105°C, forced cooling is activated. Operation can resume after the temperature returns to the safe operating range.

2. Battery level: Charge the robot as soon as possible when the battery level falls below 20%.

3. Network disconnection: There is currently no automatic warning when the network disconnects. For AP direct connection, tap “Reconnect” in the upper-right corner of the APP. For Wi-Fi mode, reconnect the network.
