Magiclab‑Tsinghua: Embodied AI Industry‑Academia Collaboration

Recently, Magiclab Robotics, along with several leading intelligent technology enterprises, held a collaborative exchange symposium with the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University in Beijing. The conference focused on deep exchanges regarding cutting-edge topics such as embodied AI, robotics, and industrial applications, with key discussions centered on future directions for integrating industry, academia, and research through collaborative innovation.

The symposium featured a distinguished lineup of participants. The Department of Automation at Tsinghua University brought together core research professors and academic leaders in the field of embodied AI, while participating enterprises represented a complete industrial chain spanning robotic hardware platforms, foundational AI infrastructure, and commercial applications.


Distinguished experts from Tsinghua University attending the event included Professor Tao Zhang, Head of the Department of Automation; Research Professor Mingguo Zhao; Associate Professor and Assistant Department Head Xin Pei; Associate Professor and Assistant Department Head Gao Huang; Associate Professor Xiang Li; Zhengqi Wen, Associate Research Professor at the Beijing National Research Center for Information Science and Technology; Geng Lu, Senior Engineer; and Jingmin Guan, Senior Engineer and Research Assistant in the Department of Automation.


Co-founder Shitao Gu and CTO Chunyu Chen represented Magiclab Robotics at the meeting.

During the symposium, several professors from Tsinghua University shared their latest research breakthroughs in embodied AI, robotic hardware platforms, and robotic arms. Professors Mingguo Zhao, Xin Pei, Gao Huang, and Xiang Li delivered keynote reports, presenting systematic overviews and in-depth analyses ranging from algorithm models and core humanoid technologies to innovative application scenarios.


Magiclab Robotics showcased its latest research achievements and strategic industrial footprint. Deeply engaged in the development of humanoid robots and core components, the company possesses full-stack in-house capabilities for general-purpose humanoid robots. Its technical layout covers core components such as servo joint modules and dexterous hands, as well as key algorithms including motion control, multimodal perception, and embodied manipulation. Magiclab Robotics continuously drives general-purpose humanoid robots toward higher performance, lower cost, and large-scale deployment. Its flagship product series, including "MagicBot," has been deployed across industrial manufacturing, scientific research, education, and commercial services, accelerating the commercialization of embodied AI.
