On June 28, Jianghan University held its 2026 campus open day and admissions consultation event. MagicLab partnered closely with the university's School of Intelligent Manufacturing, bringing humanoid and quadruped robots on-site for live demos, hands-on interaction, and technical briefings — giving prospective students and parents a direct view of embodied AI's frontier applications and industry outlook, rather than a classroom lecture about the field.
MagicBot's general-purpose humanoid, MagicDog's quadruped platform, and MagicLab's Spring Gala panda IP were the centerpiece of the event, drawing large crowds through human-like walking, high-dynamic stunt demonstrations, and live human-robot interaction — visibly illustrating embodied AI's evolution from "execution" to "understanding" for an audience actively deciding where to study the field.
Why it matters for academic partners and admissions offices: Recruitment events live or die on whether prospective students can picture themselves in the field. A live, interactive robotics showcase does more to make "intelligent manufacturing" feel tangible and current than any brochure — which is exactly why MagicLab treats these partnerships as a recruitment tool for the university, not just a marketing moment for itself.
