300 Robots, Zero Errors: MagicLab Delivers the World's Largest Outdoor Robot Swarm Performance in Torrential Rain

On April 11, at the high-profile opening ceremony of the 2026 Jiangsu City Football League ("Su Chao"), 300 MagicLab robots performed as live "actors" under conditions engineered to break most automation systems: continuous rainfall, a slick performance surface, and heavy wireless-communication interference from a crowd of tens of thousands of phones and devices. The result, per MagicLab, was the largest-scale, most environmentally complex outdoor robot swarm performance publicly known to date — executed with zero errors.

This wasn't framed internally as a one-off stunt. MagicLab positions it as a full-scale stress test of its embodied-AI entertainment production solution — a modular "event performance" product line the company reports has matured into a standardized, rapidly deployable commercial offering capable of all-weather, reliable delivery for large-scale sports and cultural events.

Why it matters for large-event organizers: Outdoor swarm performances are usually a controlled-weather, controlled-crowd product. A 300-unit deployment that held zero-error synchronization through rain, slick footing, and dense RF interference is a direct answer to the question every event producer actually asks before booking: "What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?"
